Biman Bangladesh Airlines has assured of cooperating with the law-enforcing agencies on curbing the gold smuggling through the country’s airports and at the same time regretted involvement of some Biman officials in the racket.
The Biman authorities said these in a press release issued on November 23 and hoped that the persons involved with the smuggling would be brought to justice.
The press release said that Biman had already collected Crew Scheduling Software in order to make the flight scheduling of the cabin crew transparent and realistic. It will be effective from November 30.
“There are no way of corruption and nepotism in recruitment of Biman Crew. Skilled and honest hands are picked up in a transparent way by internal and external experts,’ claimed the Biman management.
The release requested the cooperation of all in administering the flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines and no such news should be published as makes flight risky.
