Biman cancels flight operation on 5 int’l routes till Nov 30

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has cancelled flights on five international routes till November 30 due to coronavirus pandemic.
The authorities of Biman, however, will continue operation of flights on other routes.
The website of the national flag carrier revealed this information on Monday.
In the website, Biman Bangladesh said, all international flights for Manchester (MAN), Medina (MED), Kathmandu (KTM), Bangkok (BKK) and Kuwait (KWI) have been cancelled
till 30 November 2020. Flights schedule of these route will be informed later.
The Civil Aviation Authority, Bangladesh had announced cancellation of all domestic and international flights except UK, China, Hong Kong and Thailand from March 21-30. Later in a further declaration, the authority has canceled all international flights except China till April 7.
The flights ban has been extended step by step on April 14, 30, May 7, 16, 30 and on June 15 adjustment with public holidays.
On June 16, the authority gave permission to operate London and Qatar route flights. Following this, flights to other countries are being launched.
