Pilot made emergency landing of a plane of Biam Bangladesh Airlines at Dhaka airport on Friday afternoon.
The domestic flight landed safely at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) around 4:00pm, Group Captain Abdullah Al Farooq, Director of the airport, told reporters.
All the passengers disembarked the plane safely and no casualties were reported, he said.
The Dhaka-bound flight left Osmani International Airport, Sylhet, around 2:59pm. The pilot of the Dash-8 plane informed the traffic control tower of a burst tyre, Captain
Farooq said. The flight landed at the Dhaka airport safely in an “emergency precaution landing”. Fire service team and ambulances were ready on the tarmac as preparation of the landing.
