Bikrampur Riders emerged champions in the “Bangladesh Embassy Kabaddi Tournament” beating Taishu University by 25-15 points in the final held on Sunday at the gymnasium of Taisho University in Tokyo, said a press release issued on Sunday by Embassy of Bangladesh, Press Wing, Tokyo.
With a view to uphold the tradition of Kabaddi in Japan, the “Bangladesh Embassy Kabaddi Tournament-2016” was held at the gymnasium of Taisho University in Tokyo.
The Embassy of Bangladesh, Tokyo organized the program for the first time in collaboration with the help of Japan Kabaddi Association and Taisho University.
Bikrampur Riders, Joy Bangla Sports, Chiba Bengal Tigers and Taisho University were the four teams who took part in this event.
H.E Rabab Fatima, the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Japan inaugurates the program and witnessed all matches and later gave away the prizes and trophies among the winners.
