A man was killed as a bus crashed into the motorbike he was riding on the Mayor Hanif Flyover in the city on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Shamim Reza, an employee of ‘Electromac Company’. Assistant Sub-inspector Monir Hossain of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police camp said the accident took place in the morning when a speeding bus knocked down the motorbike of Reza on the flyover at the
middle point of Sayedabad and Takituli, leaving him injured.
Critically injured, Reza was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead around 9:35am, said Monir Hossain.
