A reporter of the private television channel, Bijoy TV, has been stabbed to death at Dhamrai upazila in Dhaka.
The incident happened on Thursday noon near a temple at Barbaria village of Gangutia union.
The deceased was Julhas Uddin, 35, from Dakkhin Hatkora village of Gangutia union in Dhamrai.
Police also detained two people, Shahin and Moazzem, from the scene in this connection.
Robiul Awal Hasu, member of ward no 8 in Gangutia union, said a man attacked Julhas with a sharp knife at noon. Later, Julhas died while he was being taken to Manikganj Sadar Hospital.
Dhamrai police station Inspector (Investigation) Kamal Hossain confirmed the matter.
However, Kamal Hossain could not disclose any details regarding the murder.
