The month-long Muktijudder Bijoy Mela will begin on December 10 this year.
Housing and Public Works Minister Engineer Mosharf Hossain, MP, is expected to inaugurate the fair.
Mohammad Younus, member secretary of the fair committee, disclosed this at a press conference at Chittagong Press Club yesterday afternoon.
Co-Chairman of Muktijudder Bijoy Mela Parishad, Bodiul Alam, Amal Mitra, among others, attended the press conference.
Over 300 stalls will be set up on the fair premise, organisers added. The organisers also disclosed that 14 separate Muktijudder Bijoy Mela will also be held at each upazila of Chittagong this year.
