Noted actress, dance artiste and model Bijori Barkatullah acted a serial titled Babui Pakhi Basha is going to end tomorrow. Scripted by Kazi Shahidul Islam and directed by Sokal Ahmed the serial is being aired on ATN Bangla. Its last episode will be aired tomorrow.
In the serial, the role named Munni became popular among the viewers. Bijori played in this role against Shahiduzzaman Selim. Today is Bijori’s birthday. But she has no special plan to celebrate her birthday.
While talking in this regard Bijori told this correspondent, “Birthday is only own day for me. I want to stay free in this day. Specially I do not keep any schedule on my birthday but my family tries to entertain me.”
After this serial, Bijori did not work in any other serial. But she informed that in the beginning of New Year she will start shooting of some serials. Already she has talked with some directors in this regard.
Meanwhile, for the last time Bijori was seen to perform as a model in two TVCs under Kisloo’s direction which are being aired in different satellite channels now.
At the age of only two and half years, Bijori for the first time stood in front of camera at Bangladesh Television. But in 1988, she started her acting career through a play titled Sukher Chharpotro. Her father Barkatullah produced the play.
