Bidyanondo, a non-profit organization, which aim to provide fundamental education to underprivileged children along with library facility for general readers.
It is not a complete school, rather a complementary teaching center which helps students discover their own potentials and encourages them to learn.
Kishor Kumar Das, founder of the project in December 2013, reminiscing about his childhood days, ‘I was not a good student and hardly manage to pass my school exams,’ he remembers.
‘I was always afraid of everything related to school and had no interest in it. But I realized the importance of school when my education was halted after SSC due to financial constancy.’ It was during that time that he decided to start an institution that will bring changes the education scenario in the country, especially for the underprivileged segment of the country.
