The National Film Award winner actress Bidya Sinha Saha Mim has worked in the small screen on the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Fitr. It is really good news for the fans of Mim. Due to her engagement with big screen Mim for the last years did not get the scope to work in small screen.
To keep special request from Mizanur Rahman Aryan, Mim worked only a telefilm for Eid. Title of the telefilm is Sei Meyeta. Aryan also wrote story of the Eid telefilm.
Aryan made the telefilm very organised way. Popular singer Tahsan acted against Mim in role of Himel in the telefilm. Mim played the role of Orni.
While talking about the telefilm Tahsan told this correspondent, “Earlier I had worked under Aryan’s direction. He works sincerely and cordially. I also gave my voice for the title song of the telefilm. Few days ago, I and Mim performed together as models in a TV commercial. I hope viewers will enjoy this romantic story based telefilm in Eid.”
Mim shared her feelings by this way, “After a break, I have returned to small screen. But this return is not for long time. Basically after liking the story and to keep request from the director I agreed to work in the telefilm. It has become a nice work. Earlier my work with Tahsan became popular among the viewers. I believe this telefilm will also become popular to all.”
Produced under the banner of Alpha-I Media Production Ltd the telefilm Sei Meyeta will be aired on RTV in Eid-ul-Fitr, she added.
Earlier, Mim and Tahsan worked together in Imraul Rafat’s Old Is Gold and Mabrur Rashid Bannah’s play Uddesshyo. They last performed together in a TVC of GrameenPhone under Adnan Al Rajib’s direction. It will go on air soon.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of coming Eid Tahsan has already finished shooting of Shihab Shahin’s play Se Raatey Brishti Chhilo. Richi Solaiman worked against him in the play. Therefore under Aryan’s direction Tahsan will also act in another telefilm, Tahsan said.
On the other hand, Mim acted and Tareq Shikder directed movie Daag is waiting to release soon. Within very short days she will start shooting of Anonnyo Mamun’s movie Ami Shudhu Tomar Hotey Chai.
