National Film Award winning actress Bidya Sinha Saha Mim for the first time acted in a feature film under talented director Jamal Mollick’s direction. Shooting of the feature film titled Chehara was held in
different locations in the capital’s Uttara area on Monday and Tuesday. Versatile actor of present generation Manoj Pramanik acted opposite Mim for the first time in this feature film.
Actor Manoj informed that when Mim started work in media after winning the crown of ‘Lux-Channel i Superstar,’ during that time Manoj worked in a drama directed by Amitabh Reza Chowdhury. Manoj was also his assistant in that drama. From that assistant to present time after passing many years, Manoj got the scope to act opposite Mim in this feature film. After knowing this matter, Mim also became astonished. Directed by Jamal Mollick, Mim and Manoj paired up for the feature film Chehara, which story was written by Sushmoy Sumon. Produced by Barrister Adnan Al Saif, the feature film has been made under the banner of SA Entertainment.
While talking about acting in this feature film, Mim said, “When I was regularly acting in television dramas during that I can remember I worked under Jamal Mollick Bhai’s direction in a drama titled Anamika. After many years, I acted under his direction in a feature film. Basically I liked story and my character, so agreed to work in this feature film. Therefore, while working in this feature film I was informed that my acted in a drama Manoj Bhai worked an assistant director. Now he is a good actor. As Manoj Bhai does acting well, so I agreed to work opposite him in the feature film Chehara. In fact, I want to work opposite them who can act well. I also can learn something from them regarding acting.”
Manoj Pramanik shared his feelings by this way, “Earlier, under Jamal Mollick Bhai’s direction I acted in several numbers of dramas. I feel comfortable to work under his direction. When Mim started acting I started to work as an assistant of play directors. During that time I couldn’t imagine I would start acting in television dramas. Whatever, Mim is a superstar actress of our country now. It is really a likeable matter for me that I got the opportunity to share with Mim for the first time. Main thing is that the feature film has become a nice work. I hope viewers will enjoy this.”
Director Jamal Mollick said, “Under my direction, two actors – Mim and Manoj – worked together for the first – it is also a likeable matter to me. I give special thanks to Mim to give her efforts for acting in this feature film. I give also thanks to Manoj in this regard. Chehara will be aired on Deepto TV in Eid.”
