Bangladesh Bidi Sramik Federation has organized a joyous rally to celebrate the inauguration of ‘Padma Bridge’.
After Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina unveiling the inaugural plaque and mural of the Padma Bridge at the Jajira end of Mawa and Shariatpur on Saturday, bidi workers organised a rally at Kanthalbari in Shibchar upazila of Madaripur.
The Bidi workers thanked Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and saying, “You have become the national guardian of the country by overcoming many challenges and thwarting all domestic and foreign conspiracies by constructing the country’s largest Padma bridge across the river Padma.” The Padma Bridge has given the people of Bangladesh the courage to stand tall.
