BIDA chief for more FDI for achieving development goals

Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) Executive Chairman Kazi M Aminul Islam on Wednesday stressed on more Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in the country to implement the ‘Vision-2021’ and the ‘Vision-2041’.
“Bangladesh is moving forward by adopting two development goals – Vision-2021 and Vision-2041. There is also another goal – the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – to be achieved by 2030,” he said while speaking as the chief guest at the “Bangladesh Investment Guide 2018” unveiling function at the BIDA headquarters in the city.
LankaBangla Securities Limited published the guide to disseminate updated knowledge about the investment outlook of Bangladesh among interested foreign investors – both retail and institutional.
Among others, BIDA Executive Director-2 Nabhash Chandra Mandal, Managing Director of the LankaBangla Capital Market Operations Mohammed Nasir Uddin Chowdhury and Chief Executive Officer of LankaBangla Securities Limited Khandoker Saffat Reza were present at the function.
Aminul Islam underscored the need for harmonizing development in all sectors in the country, saying the government is working relentlessly to attract more FDI.
