The Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre (BIAC) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Building Technology and Ideas Limited (bti) for dispute resolution.
According to a statement, BIAC signed the MoU with the country’s one of the leading real estate companies to assist resolution of commercial and contractual disputes through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). The signing ceremony was held at the bti office in Dhaka recently.

Tarikul Kamrul (COO), Md. Sharifur Rahman (ED Construction), Md. Shamsul Amin (ED CSD) and Md. Noor-E-Alam Siddique (ED Sales) of bti and MA Akmall Hossain Azad, Director, and Mahbuba Rahman Runa, Senior Counsel of BIAC, along with senior officials from both the organisations were present on the occasion.
This MoU will provide a framework for facilitating resolution of contractual disputes of bti using ADR methods such as arbitration and mediation through the ADR expert services of BIAC, the statement added.
