Bangladesh Indenting Agents’ Association (BIAA) has set up a mediation centre under a joint initiative with China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) for settlement of trade disputes arising out of business deals between businesspeople of Bangladesh and China.
BIAA President K M H Shahidul Haque formally announced the launching of the centre at a programme held at the National press Club here today, said a BIAA press release.
He hoped that the mediation centre would help solve business disputes of the two sides within a shortest possible time out of court.

On June 6, 2014, a Memorandum of Understanding (Mo) was signed between BIAA and Legal Affairs Department of CCPIT to establish a mediation centre for resolving disputes arising out of business deals between the businesspeople of Bangladesh and China.
