The Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) has called the thirty six youth hockey players to report coach ANM Mamunur Rashid on Saturday (October 10) at 4 pm at Moulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium for ahead of the training camp for Bangabandhu U-21 Asia Cup Hockey.
Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) acting general secretary Mohammad Yousuf said after reporting on Saturday the players would go through a Covid-19 test in the next two days. After completing the testing formalities, the player would start the full fledged camp from October 15.
He said we’ll completely ensure the security of players as well as the stadium during the training camp so that no one cannot enter inside the stadium.
He said the players’ will be accommodated at Bangladesh Air Force’s Bangabandhu Base at the Dhaka Cantonment from where the players would come to practice at hockey stadium. We will make all arrangements for travel for the players so that the players can make their training without any hindrance. The BHF would decide the practice schedule at a later stage.
Yousuf said they would arrange an isolation center at Shaheen School if any player tested for Covid-19 positive during the testing period.
The BHF will host the Bangabandhu Men’s Junior Asia Cup Hockey scheduled to be held on 21-30 January next at Moulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium.
