Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) announced on Sunday the names of 25 youth hockey players, who will take part in the coaching camp. The first phase of the training camp of National Youth Hockey team will start on September 17 and will come to an end on September 30. The coaching camp will be held marking the Under-21 AHF Cup Hockey Tournament. The players have been selected from the open trial held at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on September 12.
The players, who have been chosen, are: Shitul, Ripon, Shashon,Shuvo Kumar, (Bangladesh Army), Sajeeb, Rakeen, Mahabub, Akib, Naeem, Sabuj, Tanjeem (BKSP), Babu, Ashraful, Rumman, Imon (Abahani Limited), Rabbani, Babu (Bangladesh Navy), Ratul, Fazle Rabbi, Arshad (Usha Krira Chakra), Imran (Chittagong), Daulat (Bangladesh Air Force), Afsar, Taher (Sonali Bank) and Lalon (Rajshahi).
Selected players have requested to report to Coach ANM Mamunur Rashid, Assistant Coaches Tariquzzaman Nannu, Zahid Hossain Raju at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on September 17 at 2.00 pm.
