Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC) appointed Afroza Gul Nahar as Managing Director recently. Prior to her joining to the post, she was Deputy Managing Director of Janata Bank Ltd, said a press release.
Afroza Gul Nahar completed Post Graduate Degree with Honours in Agro. Economics discipline from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh. After completing study she started her career with Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) in 1983. She also served Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) and BHBFC as Deputy General Manager and General Manager respectively.
Afroza Gul Nahar, during her long service period, participated various training courses, workshops and seminars held both home and abroad. She comes of respectable Muslim family Lahiry village of Baliadangi Upazilla of Thakurgaon District.
