A Police officer ( SI) named Md. Chand Miah of Bhairab Model Police Station in Kishoreganj district,who was infected with the Coronavirus was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday after his recovery from COVID-19.
Police Super (SP) Mashrukur Rahman Khaled BPM ( Bar) told The New Nation that Sub -Inspactor Chand Miah was released from Kurmitolla General Hospital on Tuesday noon.
On April 9, he was taken to the isolation ward of Kurmitolla General Hospital on April ,10.
Chand Miah was discharged for Coronavirus after he tested negative twice while staying at the hospital.
At least 10 cops were infected with Virus in Bhairab of Kishoreganj.
Civil Surgeon of Kishoreganj Dr.Mujibur Rahman said that a total of 179 men have so far been diagnosed with Coronavirus in 13 upazilas of Kishoreganj.
C.S also said Karimganj Upazila Health Complex Medical Officer Dr. Arif Ahmed Joy recovered from Coronavirus and got released from Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College Hospital on Monday afternoon.
