Bhabadah Movement Committee has announced road march movement towards the office of deputy commissioner, Jessore from Bhabadah from November 16 to 19 to press its five- point demands.
The programme was announced from a press conference of the committee held at the office of Workers Party of Bangladesh on Tuesday noon.
The press conference was attended by Iqbal Kabir Jahid, adviser of the committee and also polit bureau member of WP, Ranjit Bawali, convener, Bhabadah Movement Committee, Baikuntha Bihari Roy, coordinator, Gazi Abdul Hamid, Chaitanya Kumar Paul, Abu Bakr Siddique, Anil Biswas and Ilahdad Khan.
In the press conference, journalists were informed that the road march on foot will be started from Bhabadah sluice gate on November 16 and ended on 19th of the month to press the demands of the committee.
The movement committee leaders were critical on lawmakers for Jessore- 4 and Jessore- 6 constituencies for not taking any step to relieving miseries of the affected people of Bhabadah water logged areas.
