Myanmar’s Border Guard Police (BGP) have reportedly opened blank fire on Rohingyas in the no man’s land between Bangladesh’s Konarpara and Myanmar’s Tambru border points on Thursday night sparking fresh tension between the two neighbours.
The incident took place at 10pm when a group of BGP personnel were prevented to enter into a Rohingya camp in Tambru, according to private television channels.
Earlier, the Myanmar security forces military heightened their presence in the no man’s land between Bangladesh and Myanmar’s border points.
