BGP members and his wife were killed in a road mishap on Dhaka-Rajshahi Highway on Wednesday morning at Puthia Upazila in Rajshahi.
BGP member has been identified as Azim Uddin of village Talpuki and son of Abul Hossen .
Victims said, Azim was going to Puthia Market for marketing by motor-cycle with his wife. While they are being crossing road to return home at the high time a loaded track (Dhaka Metro Dha-14-2298) hit them. Unfortunately Azim’s wife get major injured but BGP members died under the wheels of truck. However, after sometime late Azim’s wife also died before reaching to Puthia Health Complex.
Puthia Thana OC Rezul Islam said, truck driver has been arrested by the police . The body was sent to morgue for postmortem.
