BGB men seized a total of 3,000 pieces of sarees smuggled from India worth Tk 3 cr raiding Sadipur frontier under Benapole port police station, Lt Col Jahangir Hossain, commanding officer, 26 Border Guard Battalion said.
The BGB CO told on Wednesday that raiding Sadipur frontier under Benapole port police station the BGB personnel led by the battalion commander seized the sarees on November 22. The sarees were deposited to the warehouse of Jessore customs.
