Border Guard Bangladesh men on Wednesday seized smuggled Indian goods worth Tk 1, 26, 08,000 raiding an area at Amrakhali under Sharsha upazila in Jessore, said Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Jahangir Hossain, commanding officer, 26 Border Guard Battalion.
The BGB CO told that raiding an area at Amrakhali under Benapole Port police station the BGB personnel seized smuggling goods worth Tk 1, 26, 08,000. ‘The goods include lifting belts, gloves, safety shoes and other goods’, the BGB official added. But none was rounded up in connection with the operation.
