Members of Border Guard Bangladesh seized huge import ban medicines worth Tk 7 lakh from Sadipur bordering area in Benapole port police station on Thursday early.
Major Nazrul Islam, acting commanding officer of Jashore-49 BGB ,Tipped off, a team of BGB-49 conducted a drive in the area and seized the illegally imported ban medicines in an abandoned condition. However, none was arrested in this connection. The seized medicine was deposited to the Benapole Customs House.
