The Border guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested a smuggler alone with 10 gold bars from Amrakhali area of Benapole while he was smuggling the gold to India.
The detainee is Abdul Wahab son of Abdus Sattar in the Sotoachra village of Benapole Municipality.
49 BGB Commanding officer Lieutenant Colonel Selim Reza said, The BGB members stopped a Benapole bound easybike in Amrakhali area after receiving secret information that a large quantity of gold was being smuggled to India through easybike.
