BGB champs in Men’s Division, Army in Women’s Division

BGB emerged champions of the Walton Battery 31st National Senior Men’s Wrestling Competition while Bangladesh Army became champions of the Walton Battery 5th National Senior Women’s Wrestling Competition at the Kabaddi Stadium on Thursday.
BGB secured five gold medals and two bronze medals. Bangladesh Ansar became runners-up with three gold medals, one silver medal and two bronze medals. Jessore District team finished third with three silver medals and one bronze medal.
On the other hand, Bangladesh Army became champions in Women’s Division with four gold medals and two silver medals.
Bangladesh Police emerged runners-up with three gold medals, two silver medals and two bronze medals.
Narail District team finished third with one gold medal and two bronze medals.
After ending the competition State Minister for Youth and Sports Biren Sikder, MP distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest while Country Sole Agent of Walton Battery Md Sirajul Islam, Chairman of Manna Foundation Shelly Manna were with him as special guests.
Chairman of the Tournament Committee, Vice-President of Bangladesh Amateur Wrestling Federation and Additional Director of Walton FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Don, General Secretary of the Federation Tabiur Rahman, Member Secretary of the Tournament Committee Mesbah Uddin Azad were also present at the time.
