Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Border Security Force (BSF) of India played a friendly basketball match at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi, India on Wednesday.
BGB director general (DG) Maj Gen Aziz Ahmed and his Indian counterpart Debendra Kumar Pathak witnessed the match and distributed prizes among players of the participating teams.
While addressing the post-match ceremony, Maj Gen Aziz Ahmed and Debendra Kumar Pathak termed the basketball match the symbol of friendship between Bangladesh and India.
Earlier, the chiefs of border forces of the two countries were introduced to the players of both teams.
The match was organised on the eve of the DG level border conference of BGB-BSF to be held on August 21-25.
