Raiding a passengers bus, Border Guard Bangladesh(BGB) men arrested a youth along with a total of $US 40,000 raiding a Barishal bound passengers bus at Amrakhali under Benapole port police station on Wednesday.
The arrested is Enamul Haque, 30 of Khashial village under Kalia upazila in Narail district.
Lieutenant Colonel Ariful Hoque, commanding officer, 49 Border Guard Battalion told that tipped off the BGB men led by Nayeb Subedar Mizanur Rahman, in-charge, Amrakhali BGB check post seized the dollars searching the possessions of Enamul Haque raiding a Barishal bound bus of MM Transport at around 9:30pm on Wednesday.
The man was handed over to Benapole port station police along with the gold bars after filing a case.
