Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Bangladesh Ansar and VDP emerged champions in their respective boys’ and girls’ section event of the 1st Walton Beach Taekwondo competition that concluded on Monday at Cox’s Bazar sea beach in Cox Bazar, said a Walton Group Press release.
Besides, Cox’s Bazar District Sports Association emerged junior section champions in the two-day meet, organized by Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation (BTF).
Walton Group operative director head of games and sports FM Iqbal Bin Anwar was the chief guest on the closing day and distributed the prizes.
Cox’s Bazar District Sports Association’s joint secretary Harunur Rashid and BTF general secretary Mahmudul Islam Rana were also present on the occasion.
A total of 210 boys and girls from different associations, districts, and schools from across the country took part in the meet sponsored by Walton Group and organised by BTF.
