Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on Monday accorded reception to 57 gallantry award recipients Freedom Fighters (FF) at Peelkhana’s Bir Uttam Fazlur Rahman Khandker auditorium in the city.
Minister for Liberation War Affairs AKM Mozammel Hoque was present as chief guest while Director General of BGB Major General Aziz Ahmed presided over the function.
The FFs -two Bir Shrestha, eight Bir Uttam and 32 Bir Bikram of BGB and 25 Bir Pratik lived in Dhaka region.
Family members of the gallantry award recipients were given gifts on the occasion of the BGB Day.
Besides, family members of the gallantry award recipients outside Dhaka city were given reception under the management of the concerned sector commanders of BGB.
