Leaders of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) and Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ) on Saturday called upon the journalists to join a rally here today to press for announcement of the 9th wage board.
The BFUJ and DUJ will organize the rally at 11am in front of the secretariat, said a DUJ press release.
BFUJ President Manjurul Ahsan Bulbul, Secretary General Omar Faruque, DUJ President Shaban Mahmud and General Secretary Sohel Haider Chowdhury urged all concerned to make the rally a success.
Journalists’ rallies will also be held in front of offices of divisional commissioners and deputy commissioners across the country demanding the 9th wage board, the release said.
