Leaders of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) and Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ) in a statement to the press have expressed deep concern over the renouncing the journalists at the daily Inqilab yesterday.
In a joint statement, BFUJ President Monjurul Ahsan Bulbul, Secretary General Omar Faruk, DUJ President Shaban Mahmud and General Secretary Shohel Mahmud said, the Inqilab authority has sacked 21 journalists from different sections of the paper violating existing rules .
They termed it unethical and demanded reinstatement of the journalists.
The leaders also urged journalists to take preparation for greater movement to foil this evil design of the Inqilab authority .
