Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU), a central organization for the prevention of money laundering and financing of terrorism, has launched its website on Monday.
BFIU Head Md Masud Biswas inaugurated the website at a function at the central bank’s headquarters in the capital, said a press release.
The Prevention of Money Laundering Act was enacted in Bangladesh in 2002 to play an effective role in preventing money laundering.
