BFF wants shortened quarantine period for Nepal

The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) wants to decrease quarantine time for Nepal Football team.
Bangladesh Football team will play two FIFA friendly matches against Nepal Football team on November 13 and November 17 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium.
Nepal Football team will arrive in the city on November 5 by a chartered aeoroplane.
There is a system in our country that if anybody comes from abroad he or she have to take a 14-day quarantine. But the BFF applied to the Health Directorate to decrease the quarantine time for the members of Nepal contingent. BFF wants that the quarantine time for Nepal contingent will be four or five days and the members of Nepal Football team will be allowed to take part at the practice sessions during the quarantine time. Nepal Football team will probably stay at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel.
General Secretary of the Bangladesh Football Federation Md Abu Nayeem Shohag said, ” A virtual discussion of inter-ministerial was held on Sunday. The officials of the BFF took part in the discussion.”
He said, ” We want our coaches and members of Nepal Football team have a four or five days quarantine after their arrival. Besides, we want to all the persons related to the upcoming FIFA friendly matches will be included in bio-secure bubble system. We met the officials of Health Directorate for this reason.”
BFF wants to start the matches at 6.00pm. So, BFF will sit with the officials of National Sports Council about the floodlight opportunities of the Bangabandhu National Stadium.
BFF also wants that the matches will be available for the spectators at the big bowl during the matches. But the spectators should maintain the Government health protocol to watch the FIFA friendly matches between Bangladesh and Nepal.
