BFF set one year plan for U-16 Nat’l Women side

Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) set a one year plan for the national Under-16 Women team aiming to brilliant showcase in the upcoming AFC U-16 Women’s Championship 2017 that scheduled to be held in Thailand from September 9 to 23.
BFF Women’s Wing Chairperson Mahfuza Akhter Kiron disclosed the plan at a press conference, after an executive committee meeting with BFF President Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin in the char, at BFF House held on Friday.
Kiron said that the U16 team’s camp started on Friday (September 16, 2016) and it will continue until to leave for Thailand in September 2017, under the supervision of Head Coach Golam Rabbani Choton at three — BFF Artificial Turf, Bir Sherestha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammed Mostafa Kamal Stadium and Abahani Club Ground — separate grounds in the city.
A total of 23 players, who played for Bangladesh in the AFC U-16 Women’s Championship Qualifiers 2017 and qualify from the Group-C with all win record in early September at home ground, will be in the training camp initially with an option to include more five players later on.
“BFF planned to pay monthly allowance for the players, to provide sports kits and regular clothing throughout the camp,” Kiron said.
Besides, BFF decided to provide teachers for English, Math, Bangla and other subject for the study of the women’s side during their camp.
“BFF also decided to sign parental consent with the players’ parents for one year residential camp at BFF dormitory, Kiron added.
BFF aimed to arrange minimum five to six friendly matches in Japan, China and Korea Republic for the young side before the AFC U-16 Women’s Championship 2017.
BFF vice president Kazi Nabil Ahmed, Mohiuddin Ahmed Mohi, Badal Roy, Tabith Awal and general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag also present the occasion.
