The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has taken plans to develop grassroots level football.
The development plan will be to support the grassroots football initiatives, activities and programmes throughout Bangladesh. The concept will be to encourage players, coaches, officials and people as possible through football to participate in coordinated and organised grassroots programmes.
President of the Bangladesh Football Federation Kazi Salahuddin said, “Not every grassroots player may make a national team player, but every national team player starts out in grassroots level football.”
The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) will organise and manage four nationwide grassroots football hubs. The hubs are: Dhaka, Feni, Nilphamari and Madaripur.
The football hubs will be connected to the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) and Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The activities will be held at the recently newly developed Astroturf facilities.
The amenities will be the central focus for the delivery of grassroots football activities in the region and will focus on providing initiatives to all with a weekly balanced and structured programme.
Over the coming weeks the technical department of the BFF will be formulating all plans at all the four grassroots football hubs. The interested players are requested to contact to Md Hasan Mahmud, Manager of Grassroots Football Committee of Bangladesh Football Federation. His contact number is mobile phone: 01709660515 and e-mail: hasan. bff @ gmail.com.
