BFF election today

Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) incumbent president Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin will face Kamrul Ashraf Khan Poton, MP, for the president post in the BFF election, which is scheduled to be held today (Saturday).
The election will be held at Radisson Blue Water Garden Hotel from 2pm to 5pm where 134 councillors from across the country will give mandate to their favourite future leader of the BFF.
Two terms BFF president Salahuddin, a former celebrity footballer, is running for the president post for the 3rd consecutive time while Poton, a member of parliament from Narsingdi-2 constituency, is a businessman contesting for the post for the first time.
Including two panels and independent candidates, a total off 42 candidates will contest in the polls to fill 20 posts.
Meanwhile, Abdus Salam Mursheday has been elected senior vice president unopposed of the BFF for the 3rd consecutive time from Salahuddin-led panel.

Vice-president Candidates: Kazi Nabil Ahmed ,MP, Badal Roy, Shamshul Haque Chowdhury ,MP, and Mahiuddin Ahmed Mahi.
EC Member Candidates: Harun Ur Rashid, Amirul Islam Babu, Satyjit Das Rupu, Fazlur Rahman Babul, Elias Hossain, Mahfuza Akhter Kiron, Saleh Zaman Selim, Shawkat Ali Khan Jahangir, Mahiuddin Ahmed Selim, Tawfikul Islam Tofa, Arif Hossain Moon, Amit Khan Shuvra, Abdur Rahim, Alamgir Khan Alo and Zakir Hossain Chowdhury.
