Singer Beyonce Knowles has been named Google’s most-searched female celebrity in Britain this year.
The 33-year-old has been under the spotlight for the past 12 months as rumours circulated suggested that her marriage was on the rocks, after her sister Solange and her husband Jay Z were seen clashing in an elevator, reports femalefirst.com.
Video footage of the same emerged on the Internet and prompted speculation that their six-year marriage could be in trouble.
Beyonce also released a full platinum edition of her self-titled fifth studio album, while she and Jay Z embarked on their ‘On The Run’ tour.
