Poura Mayor of Betagi Pourashava and former upazila chairman Alhaj ABM Golam Kabir has left for Japan in a 10-day visit yesterday.
The tour was sponsored by the Ministry of Local Government and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) with a view to exchanging views on local government . He will visit local government system in Japan.
Prior to his this visit, as a upazila chairman Kabir visited European counties as Betagi Upazila has been selected model upazila and personally visited USA .
