Officer -In-charges of Pahartali thana and Double Mooring Thana Ranjit Kumar Barua and Md. Bashir Ahmed Khan respectively declared best Officer- In-charge among the 16 CMP thanas in the regular monthly crime meeting held at CMP headquarters on Thursday in Chittagong for their remarkable achievement in recovering the contraband drugs .
At the same time Deputy Police Commissioner of CMP Farukul Islam and Asstt. Police commissioner(Sadar) Jahedul Islam were also awarded as best police officers . The monthly crime control meeting of CMP was held with CMP commissioner Iqbal Bahar at its headquarters . In the meeting , 62 police members were given honourary awards for extending their brilliant performances in arms and other criminal cases beside the drugs recovery. Among others, Additiional Police commissioner(crimes) Debdas Bhattachairya, Additional Police commissioner(Traffic) Masudul Hasan, Additional Police commissioner(Admn) Saleh Md. Tanvir and Deputy commissioners under CMP were present in the meeting, a CMP sources said.
