Beraid Gonopathagar organised a ‘Literature Lecture Series – 2′ at the Pathagar located at Badda Thana in the capital on Friday. The theme of program was `Trend of Contemporary Literature: in the Context of Prothom Alo Eid Issue 2017’.
Emdad Hossain Bhuiyan, President of Gonopathagar presided over the function. Sajjad Sharif, Managing Editor of the Prothom Alo was the occasion as chief guest. Md. Zillur Rahman Deputy Director of the Directorate of Public Library presented keynote paper as principal speaker. Shuhuita Sultana, Deputy Director of Jatiyo Gronthokendra (National Book Center) attended as special guest.
The function was addressed among others by Mirza Lutfor Rahman, Headmaster of Beraid Muslim High School, Anwarul Alam, Asstt Headmaster of Rowshanara Girls High School, Zahirul Islam Patwari, Superintendent of Alhaj Rahimullah Dakhil Madrasa, Mirajunnesa, Librarian of AKM Rahmatullah University College, Mozammel Hoque, Freedom Fighter, Maruf Ahmed, UP Member of Beraid, and Shafiqul Islam of Armanitola Gronthoshurid Samity respectively.
