Promising singer Belly Afroz got the ‘Shanko Telefilm Star Award 2019’ recently. She received the award from legendary singer of the Subcontinent Runa Laila. It was the best moment for Belly in her musical career. While sharing her feelings in this regard Belly said, “For music I earlier got awards. But as the best musician to receive the award was something different in my career because I received the award from Runa Laila Madam. It is really hard to express in a word. During that time I was speechless. I couldn’t forget the moment in my life.”
It is mentioned that in that award giving ceremony, Runa Laila was present as the chief guest while Gazi Mazharul Anwar was present as the special guest.
In the beginning of this month, Belly Afroz went to London. She impressed the audience around 50 thousands by her stage performance. She will again go there in October, Belly said.
In 2012, Belly Afroz started her professional career through reality show ‘Power Voice.’ In 2015, her first self-titled album was released. In last Eid, her solo song Beder Meye Joshna Returns was released on YouTube. Now her two new songs titled Sukh Pakhi and Poraner Bondhu are waiting to release. The song Poraner Bondhu is composed by Gofur Hali, Belly added.
