Engineer Md. Belayet Hossain has joined Bangladesh Power Development Board (PDB) on Thursday as its 37th Chairman. Prior to this post he was Member (Production) of PDB.
He obtained B.Sc. Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 1984. He joined PDB as an Assistant Engineer in October 28, 1984.
Belayet was born in Madaripur district on February 1 in 1963.
He visited many countries including Russia, China, America, India, France and Italy.
Belayet is married and father of four children. He seeks blessings from all.
