Two popular singers of present
generation Belal Khan and Lopa Hossain rendered two songs have already got appreciation from the music-lovers. These two songs are: Samanno Sombol and Buker Majhe. Recently they lent their voices for
a new duet song titled Subhan Allah. Lopa’s husband and lyricist Sirajum Munir has composed the song while JK Majlish has arranged
its music. Mahin Awlad has given direction of music video of the song which shooting was held at BFDC on March 29 and in Old Dhaka on March 30. Popular film actor Kayes Arju and popular face in the small screen Shakila Parvin performed as models in Belal-Lopa’s this song.
While talking about her new song, Lopa Hossain said, “Subhan Allah is a romantic song. But it is not traditional. There is exceptionality not only in its lyrics but also its music composition. Belal Khan has rendered an antora of the song while I have rendered another.
JK Majlish Bhai has arranged its music so nicely that listeners will surely enjoy the song. Mahin Bhai has made its music video as usual well. Now it is seen that there is absence of special arrangement in music video. But Mahin built up a set at BFDC regarding necessity for making music video of the song. Everybody, including me, who was related to this song, is very much optimistic with this new track.
This song will be released on my YouTube channel on Pahela Boishakh.” Belal Khan shared his feelings by this way, “Lopa is my good friend. Her husband has composed tunes of the song. He has also written its lyrics. I believe lyrics, tunes and music video – everything has become very nice.”
