Sheikh Arif Bulbon :Popular singer and music director of present time Belal Khan is going to get the National Film Award 2014 for the first time. As Best Music Composer, he will receive the award on April 3, The Film Day. After announcement of getting the National Film Award Belal Khan has become more engaged with his works. Under the music composition and direction by him at a project of Laser Vision a solo album of Oyshee is being made. Four songs of Oyshee will take place in the album. Already one song has been recorded. Belal Khan will get the award as Best Music Composer for Masud Pathik’s movie Nekabborer Mohaproyan. As a result, Masud Pathik again wants to work with Belal in his second movie Maya. As a full-fledged music director, Belal Khan first worked in Masudur Rahman’s movie Tomai Dilam Prithibi. He also worked in Royel Anik’s Game Return and Mizanur Rahman Labu’s Club D. While talking about his work with Oyshee’s album he told this correspondent, “There will be folk fusion based experimental songs in Oyshee’s album. It is said that it will be my challenging project. I give thanks to Laser Vision in this regard. After informing about getting my National Film Award I have become more engaged with my works. I am a simple person who hailed from a village. For this reason, I always try to give folk taste in my songs. Within very short days I will start to make music videos of my new songs.”Belal also informed that today he will go to Pangsha in Rajbari to perform in a stage show.
