Police recovered throat slit body of an unidentified youth in Tongabari area of Ashulia, on the outskirts of capital Dhaka on Friday.
The identity of the deceased, could not be known till the report filing at 9pm.
Officer-in-Charge of Ashulia Police Station Mohsinul Kadir said, locals spotted the body beside a road and informed police. Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital for autopsy, he added.
A murder case was filed with Ashulia Police Station in this connection.
“Primarily we suspect that it might be a planned murder,” said the OC.
