The Begum Rokeya Day and International Women’s Violence Prevention Day were celebrated in Ramgarh Upazila of Khagrachhari.
A discussion meeting was held on the occasion on Thursday at the initiative of the Upazila Women’s Affairs Office. Ramgarh UNO (Acting) Umme Habiba Majumder presided over the discussion held at the Upazila Auditorium. The chief guest was Upazila Chairman Bishwa Pradeep Kumar Karbari. Among others, Upazila Women’s Affairs Officer Md. Jahangir Alam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Samshuzzaman, Upazila Fisheries Officer Vijay Kumar Das and journalist Md. Nizam Uddin Lavlu spoke.
