Begum Laila Alam 9th Open FIDE Rating Chess tournament will begin on February 1 at Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room in the city.
Organised by Bangladesh Chess Federation and sponsored by former chess player Begum Laila Alam the tournament is an open event for all women and girls players who have been asked to enroll their names with entry fee on or before January 31 at Bangladesh Chess Federation office.
The event will be held in seven round Swiss-League system and cash prize of Taka 65.000 will be given to the winners.
