Begum Laila Alam 9th Open FIDE Rating Chess tournament will begin on February 1 at Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room.
Organised by Bangladesh Chess Federation and sponsored by former chess player Begum Laila Alam, the event is open for all women and girls players. Players have been asked to enroll their names with entry fee on or before January 31.
The event will be held in 7 round Swiss-League system and cash prize of Taka 65,000 will be given to the winners.
